I am always creating a character when i am designing a dress or when i am styling a look.

I have listened to the queen of Fado while i was sketching this dress. That’s why while i was wearing it on the streets of Milano and i was posing for this look post, in my mind i was singing  Amalia Rodrigues – Solidao.  My clothes have songs, my skirts have to dance while i am walking.

I decided to show you today that the power of the dress is directly linked to the accessories and the details.

The music is the same, it’s the dance that changes, thanks to the shoes i was wearing. At first i had to walk a lot from my place to reach a show so i took those Moja boots that Alina Ceusan has designed and had a non-painful 3 km walk to the show. I wasn’t always taking the Uber, the metro is always easier & less expensive to use for me when i am in a different country.  The truth is that i enjoyed the first sunny day to get this black dress on the sunny streets of Milano.

In that day i’ve attended Ermanno Scervino show, by mistake. I knew that i will take only pictures in the sun with Iuliana Popescu & Cosmina Contu. The show was unplanned and i have to thank Deea Codrea & Manuela Lupascu for inventing me from their behalf to the show. I had invitations to other shoes and i could just “fake it till i’ll make it” and claim that i had been invited to this show too, but i prefer to stay true to my  audience and just confess that i have been only lucky to see this amazing show. I will post about it in the NEWS & EVENTS column asap.

Besides Andreea Pasca helped me to carry those heels so i have changed the entire look before entering the show. Yes, she is not only responsible for my make-up, i have a lot to thank for to this human being.

The main idea was to show you how versatile is my new collection and how a “Caliente” dress can be worn in two absolutely different ways.  The second look was empowered by my Enzo Bertini patent yellow heels and they have changed the entire attitude of my “dance”. Not to mention that vintage floral scarf that has been the cherry on the top of the cake, according to my tastes. You just have to agree it suited  perfectly my little Chloé bag from, giving it a very personal touch.

Enough for today,

With the passion of a fado song,
